But there were guns and cops and stuff! Just like Heat!

I'm 'liking' these comments just because I'm entertained by the sheer pointlessness of invading a classic TV episode thread with goofy insults. It's so…internetty.

I went back and marathoned the show between the 2nd and 3rd seasons, and while the pilot grabbed my interest, "Walkabout" was where I really came on board. I wasn't even watching for a twist ending, and it completely threw me. Great stuff.

I'm sorry to see True Detective go down so early, but Breaking Bad was the clear choice for me. In a better world, the two shows could merrily skip away hand in hand over the fallen corpses of every other series, content to peacefully coexist. Unfortunately, there can be only one.

I'd like to think that they've been a constant thought nagging at the back of your mind for two decades, rather than just returning when you saw the cover image again.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I saw the phrase "hick-hop" for the first time and stopped reading. Life may be about the search for knowledge, but there are certain things I'm happier not knowing.

Came in ready to compliment the choice of cover image, left with a renewed respect for Comedy Bang Bang.

Ah, the old "make enough films that conditional probability says they can't all be bad" gambit.

Honestly, just put a cursor into the game. Easier to work with the game objects, and opens up the possibility of double-clicking for instant travel on the screen, Curse of Monkey Island-style.

Sure, it looks like it, but I can see the hatred boiling underneath the surface.

That is great news, but please please please update the interface! The game's phenomenal but was crippled for me by the lack of any usable indicator for interactive/takeable objects. Wandering around every room hoping to trigger a slight change in where Manny is looking to indicate that an object's usable isn't

Then it's a good thing I'm a great friend of robots and computers.

After seeing some of the transcripts from these tests, I can only believe that their true purpose is to secretly assess the judges' intelligence. I mean, the chatbot's responses do everything short of outright saying 'BEEP BOOP I AM A COMPUTER' and they still fool some of the judges.

Welcome to Obama's America.

FUCK YOU, WATER! *takes long sip, sighs contentedly*

"My name is Postmaster General Franklin….and you can go fuck yourself!"

I agree - I don't really love it overall, but when it's on, it's really on. At the very least I have to give it props for pushing the boundaries of subjects/jokes you really don't see in the safe environment of the comics page.

Not one of my favorite C&H strips when I was a kid, but boy do I appreciate it now.

Really? He basically looks exactly how I would've pictured him (+/- a mustache, of course). Straight out of Calvin's Dad's family.

Great stuff - oddly enough, while I could've seen the art as being an homage to his style, the lettering was what sold it. 100% recognizable from a life spent poring over C&H strips and books.
