C-3PO'S ARM/KNEECAP CONFIRMED

It's a trap!

^ This.
Crappy effects are crappy effects, regardless of whether they're practical or computer-generated. CG is just something people have grabbed onto because it's an easy criticism when it's done poorly. There's a HUGE amount of CG in films and TV shows that goes completely unnoticed because it's not big, obvious…

I'm interested in the technicalities of how a mural makes something more official.
"Yes, officer, I was speeding, but as you can see, my car has a mural of me driving really fast."
"Ah yes, that seems official…move along, then."

Where's the restroom?

You really have to do some research outside the main CBB catalogue to find out more about Scott. For example, he doesn't like the band Phish.

And it got a larger font size due to the high level of engagement it engendered, as it should.

That is a very Dan kind of joke (in a good way).

10 long years since the world discovered that air could descend too quickly to warm by compression.

In Flophouse news, "the Mr. Magoo of listening" joins the ranks of such lines as "HI, DAN" in the list of random off-the-cuff remarks that make me laugh for improbable lengths of time. I know the episode won't be up here until next week, but it's a great one.

I've never heard of Homer and Eddie before, but the writeup makes it sound too stupid to be real, like it belongs in the Jim Belushi character's hypothetical filmography on the great We Hate Movies podcast.

I hoped there would be giggling, and there was giggling. Never change, H. Jon Benjamin.

To be fair, it was better than the Simpsons in their heyday. ;)

I'll be courteous and let my 'like' stay up even after scrolling down and reading the earlier iteration of this joke.

That gal on the right seems okay too, she looks like her day was just rudely interrupted by a bunch of clowns who think they can dance, but all she wants to do is walk by and finish her errands.

I was really hoping he'd straight up squash that Goomba at the end of the commercial.

I'd agree, except that it could work as some sort of meta-statement about humanity's hubris and desire to be better than nature.

I like the general idea (and the quote I saw elsewhere, that the park has been around long enough that the novelty of seeing living dinosaurs wore off some time ago), but I'll always feel some slight disappointment deep inside that the movie's not about intelligent, weaponized raptors.
