Health and safety concerns. Same reason you aren't allowed to have a buffet at a strip club anymore.

Yup. There's also the Satanic Child Abuse scare.

No worthwhile human being has ever used the phrase dumpster fire as a descriptor.

Hey, you remember that lady who had a middling hit 20 years ago? Well here's her political opinions. On twitter. We felt compelled to share this with you because there is something fundamentally wrong with us.

Yeah. It's one of those series I kind of fascinating simply because so much of it's DNA got into modern shonen story structure. At least by way of Dragonball.

NGE drew heavily on a series called Space Runaway Ideon which, once you get past the main characters Space Fro is by the end is quite possibly one of the single most grim things I have ever watched.

The Bunyip Song made me too scared to go and get my Asterix book out of my room.

Which considering what happened originally in that scene in the comic is a pleasant change.

Don't. I said I was a two fisted private eye and then I had to pay for a bunch of expensive tests on my hands to make sure there wasn't any punching related damage because apparently that's an issue for the profession.

I like him because he was funny on that thing he was in.

Yeah. But it's a remake of Suspira. Do you actually get to do the money thing?

It's a movie whose entire appeal is based on it being the work of a strong stylist. There is not a single benefit to remaking it.
