Nolan plays on freetetris.org?
Nolan plays on freetetris.org?
I genuinely would watch a show that just was ten hours of Zosia Mamet doing Shosanna just riffing on stuff.
Hey, let's be real here, all the cool kids watch ABC Family
This might just be me REALLY reading into it, but I feel another component to Demandred's massive insanity (beyond his gigantic sa'angreal and vast army) was the death of Mesaana. While Demandred is going crazy on the heights and balefiring everything in sight, while accepting all challenges to single combat, I can…
What exactly was Moiraine doing throughout the entire Rand-and-Moridin-stuck sequence? Nynaeve was dealing with Alanna and Thom was killing disguised Dreadlords trying to get past him, but what was Moiraine doing?
@Murc:disqus (since this seems to be the accepted protocol, haha):
I'm similar; *love* "Memory" (and a lot lof Lloyd Webber) but really dislike the musical.
This is 100% true and I came here to post this. I love singalongs to that song.
That Logain scene gave me shivers. The non-Dreadlord Asha'man in this book in general were excellent. Also Pevara, just because Pevara is one of my favorite characters.
Awesome, found it. It's page 378, in Chapter 20, "Into Thakan'dar". Egwene, Lelaine, Leane, Romanda and a couple of others are standing around, the gateway opens, she tells them to let go of saidar, and, well, I can see how I missed that. Thanks! That was, uh, very abrupt!
Also, wait, Romanda died? I must have totally missed that…which page is it on (in case you know)?
*pounds the Phineas and Ferb drum*
I'm seriously emotionally drained from reading this book. It's just non-stop action, from start to finish, and I'm totally amazed that they could pull off a satisfying ending to the series. I'm just stunned. Nearly everything felt *earned*, and this shocked me.
Ryan Braun?
I find that this is fixed in "Towers of Midnight", which is probably why the Mat sections in ToM were excellent, as opposed to the barely-passable nature they had before.
Exactly. I love massive worldbuilding. If you don't, I get it. But I love the intricacies and the characters-getting-bogged-down-in-unforseen-complications (except you, Perrin) and so forth.
so it's officially "Aidemily" then? I'm okay with this.
Oh thank god I was wondering when this would finally happen
Do you see Heathcliff as the villain of Wuthering Heights?
"Saw this and it's everything "Les Mis" fans will want and nothing non-fans or newcomers will care for." I saw it today and I think this is reasonable. But I love Les Mis to death, so I really liked it (well, everything except Russell Crowe).
