Baccarin has been very good in Homeland, thusfar, and I feel like you might be selling her a bit short. As well as the fact that her name is Morena (:p).

"Hudson University"? The L&O universe is the same as the one in Castle? Or does the place actually exist? (aside: I would never want to go there, given the number of crackpot professors/college rapes that seem to happen on Law and Order in that place)

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this comment. It's an enjoyable show and I think I'll keep watching it.

Revenge, apparently.

this is just not true

Yes. K9 is phenomenal.
People never get it when I say that!

I've always been under the impression that this is the case

maybe not

Also, they sometimes shoot fantastically-awesome weaponry. Like cannons and gatling guns.

I really enjoy this show. Not sure why - I think it's a combination of the fact that the challenges seem very difficult and the fact that the contestants often actually volunteer themselves for the elimination challenge because they haven't done well. That and the cool slo-mo cameras, I guess.

Yeah, @avclub-ee712b54ff92d404ff6cd6c8f6e41324:disqus pretty much sums up my thoughts. You're right - the monsters were sort of silly, but to me that was only secondary to the episode. I saw it as the Doctor confronting a situation that I'd have expected him to confront at some point in the past, and then, comparing

Agreed on "The Waters of Mars". Its portrayal of the Doctor and the emotional/moral situation (and eventual resolution) has made it one of my favorite episodes of New Who. I'm not sure if I loved this one quite as much, but I definitely liked a lot.

I initially read this as "ood future" and was moderately confused.

I love Robert Picardo!

also, rain.

I don't feel tired so much as I feel engaged. I find I react more to these careening episodes since stuff happens so quickly, so I'm more likely to jump up and shout or something.

on that subject, had they caught/punished River/Melody fully, wouldn't it have been too early in *her* timestream?

Agreed 100%.
I also love how the viewers' initial perception of milk boy was as a joke - then he became a serious villain - and someone retained the joke aspect (especially "You can't hurt me. I'm lactose intolerant". That line just had me rolling on the floor).
