Yeah. I have to trust she's hanging around for something good to do. We'll see.

I read somewhere that she is supposedly going to play a "major role" in the new season and have been mad every episode. But I get it. They're just playing the Dougie game with Audrey showing up too.
I also got a good laugh out of Lucy's "I don't know why I'm thinking about furniture. Andy and I never seem to be home". That's some grade A snark.
Don't they know that she sent a text back to Mr. C specifically?
I love any scene with Carl.
The sound design is making this season. If the original seasons had had that, they'd be much better.
That guy was sooooo effective in both of his scenes this week. So perfectly strange.
Lynch also has an affinity for pretty women he can touch and put his arm around.
Yeah. I loved the town slowly going madder. That was a beautifully creepy scene. And a great show of what's coming.
I just thought about Cooper's dreams from the original seasons, but that is an interesting connection.
Yeah the fact that the review wrote his "butler's" uniform off as being because they're super low key and cool dudes and not that Florian is his boyfriend kind of made me wonder what show they were watching.
It's an 18 hour movie. We're at hour 6. This is still the opening act.
I think giving us three non-versions of Cooper in this new season when he knew all most fans would want is to see their old friend Agent Cooper is such a fucking genius move on Lynch's part, and it's hilarious. I love it.
That actually happened in the West World comments so I wouldn't be surprised if it is the truth. Also MIKE's "You've been tricked" to Cooper makes sense in view of this theory.
I also think it was his soul, that Carl could see. I've seen some suggestions that Carl has powers from or is affected by the White Lodge, though I'm not sure based on what exactly. Still it would be an interesting choice for the character. When I was watching that scene, I thought Carl was going to give up his life…
I agree. I thought for moment the show was actually going to make a big, interesting, dark move and throw her off the roof.
And 30 Rock was equally tone deaf, often.
I think Drugs would be a definite one. I think there is a real point to be made here because they're specifically American gods. So I see potential for Drugs, Money or Greed, etc. I think they may be exploring something like that by bringing Vulcan in next week as and Old God who has seen a new life in American as the…
I think Media explained it pretty well in the first episode where she appeared. The Old Gods were needed, whereas the New Gods are what we sacrifice our time to now, even if we don't realize.
Ah thanks yeah. That's a great breakdown of what he is. That makes perfect sense.
