Thank God for Wikipedia because apparently references to 1913 children's literature classics go way over my head

Optimism:  Well, you know, Parks and Rec kinda felt like an Office spinoff/reboot during the first season so maybe there's hope for this one day.

Yeah, sadly I agree.  As many people have said there have been some classics this year but the show certainly isn't nearly as consistent as it used to be.  There was a run where every episode was good to great and now there are a lot of episodes that are lackluster.

It's funny because I don't think anyone would bat their eyelashes and a double chicken sandwich with bacon but take away the bun and shit hits the fan.

Lou Gehrig is still mentioned in baseball a lot.  My point was just that of course there are plenty of people who don't care about a subject that won't know who a person is.  Also, you would be shocked at how many 18 year old have never heard of Nirvana; I'm not saying its the majority but there are probably more than

Fair. Though I think Lou Gehrig transcends that. Sadly that's partly because ALS is most commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease but I think it's mostly because of the "Luckiest man" moment.  And also, a ton of people still watch, play, and care about baseball… even 18 year olds.

I can play this game too.

The story telling is so good though through the entire album.  There are a few songs that don't hold up but I don't think you could get rid of enough to make it a single disc without omitting something that deserves to stay.

@avclub-6463731acbc7db8bcd174cddca74e2dd:disqus I agree.  I actually consider Me Against the World to be the only real classic 2Pac album. Beginning to the end it is absolutely solid.

You forgot about average beats as well.  Nas has spent his whole career being criticized for rapping over terrible beats but if you listen back on Pac's catalog, his aren't much better.

I just don't understand why Mike didn't Jesse to watch Walt during that time.  It's not like Jesse would have been busy, and he was certainly motivated ($5 mil and no more killing) to make sure Walt doesn't steal the meth.

No, cooking meth is only good if you have lung cancer
