Cars.

Carroll O’Connor is my grandmother's cousin so I should probably watch this show sometime.  It's definitely a pop culture blind spot for me.

Same here!  And it was in real IMAX so it was fantastic.  Don't think I've ever sat in a theater with 100+ people without hearing a peep from anyone or seeing one single person get up to use the restroom.

The first I heard 2 Chainz was the end of Mercy where his verse really is quite good.  However, every single verse I've heard of his since then has been really terrible.  I can't imagine he'll be around much longer than 2012

Not true.  You also know him as the E*Trade baby.  You SHOULD know him from You Made it Weird because it's quite good.

I see what you mean and you seem to have a much deeper knowledge of music than I do but I definitely see this crop, even with the negative aspects that you describe, as being a step in the right direction from the early to mid 2000's.  They at least seem to recognize the early years of Hip Hop while putting a more

Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Earl Sweatshirt, and potentially Tyler, the Creater (if he focuses) give me hope for the future of hip hop.

Agreed.  I got the album before I saw the Fallon performance and loved Bad Religion.  A few days later I decided to check out the Fallon clip and was so blown away by it that it diluted my enjoyment of the album version.  Still great but I would love for the live version to be released as a bonus track.
