if you are making a sci-fi film involving an alien invasion of a planet, with 70% of said planet's surface covered in water, then having those aliens be killed by exposure to water is a big fucking problem. willing suspension of disbelief requires at least an attempt at plausibilty. not mind-numbingly stupid

stop-motion was the perfect medium for coraline. great movie. enjoyed the book too, and yes, the additional kid was handled well.

american gods would probably get pared down a bit too much. ananzi boys would make a good film. i'm still waiting for good omens to hit the screen, even though it will never, ever, ever happen.

to be fair, "adam's psychedelic breakfast" kinda sucks though. "obscured by clouds" probably gets overlooked cause it's a soundtrack, though it shouldn't.

agreed. if you leave out the fact this was a contract dispute, then if puts the band in a worse light. if you remember to mention that crucial bit: EMI deciding that selling digital singles was somehow magically different than selling physical ones, it's a simple case and the band is in the right. one might
