    SPOILERS

    The Good Ol' Days
If anyone is interested, http://tylerc.com/the-120-m… has cataloged every episode of 120 Minutes (who hosted, what bands were interviewed, order of music videos shown, etc.).

@AlwaysBeenTim and @Benoit Waffle, My friends and I used to call him Fat Pinhead. In hindsight, he wasn't a terrible host, but his addition to the show threw a monkeywrench into the vibe of the show. It was fun when a band hosted because they have no tolerance for reading telepromopters or appearing like know-it-alls.

James Brown's performance in The T.A.M.I. Show
I agree that it's the greatest live performance ever captured on film, but what a strange analogy for a Hussein film. Anyway, I'm off to watch the James Brown clip again for the thousandth time; much like how reading the word sushi will make you crave sushi.

    Gerry
Gerry seems like a glaring omission. Otherwise, good list.

The videos of Goonies the Musical (I assume you had a part in the songwriting) is fantastic.

    You Don't Like Me
My top five TMBG songs are never set in stone. The list is often influenced by whichever album of theirs I've listened to most recently. With that said, the last track on Join Us, "You Don't Like Me," is (for now) in my top five TMBG songs. It's catchy, clever yet true to life, and refreshingly

Paper bags cost money. The film will instead use an acorn falling to the ground.

Take my comment at face value. It's a cheesy movie with a ridiculous plot and laughable outfits, but it's a fun time especially if you're drinking.

    Tangent
While searching the Instant Queue last night, I stumbled upon an excellent gem from 1979 called Roller Boogie. If you have a 90 minutes and enjoy earnest have vs. have-not roller skating movies with plots similar to Dirty Dancing and Breakin' (but before those movies came out), then check it out. It stars

    Nice review
I like this album, but I'd like it a lot more if it didn't have with the song "Glitter Gold Year." That song is a chore.

ElDan & @Jay, I typically use three sites for learning about new independent releases.

For me it's not an internet thing exclusively.

I've wondered that, too. Don Geiss is Jack's idol, and while Jack isn't the technical producer of The Girly Show, he certainly has seems to be the one with the most influence on the Girly Show's output.

    Louie-e-e
Just reading the show name gets the theme song stuck in my head.
