Since everyone needs to snooze from eating too much, how about a DAWES set next time?

It was silly for her to do it, yet somehow I don't blame her. As opposed to Nipplegate, it wasn't very in your face, like at the climax of the song… Anybody who's offended by finger positioning must find it hard to walk down the street.

Bobby Moynihan is killing it this season, tho I think he's been good from the beginning.

I'd kind of agree… had little to no expectations, and I thought Chan Tats wasn't that bad for a semi-non-actor, Bon Iver were better than I thought they would be. Neither of those are my thing, but I don't know, seemed better than the Harr Potts ep.

Seconded.

Hey! Did anyone else think the commercials for this were bad?

Tim and Eric had some sort of misspelled imitator, maybe that's what I was thinking of. I still get a kick out of "Billy Crystals."

To read Nicole Krauss is to snap into one's own Slim Jim.

Definitely.

I went down that canyon once when I was a kid. There's a place in the canyon. I can't remember. Must have been a gardenia plantation at one time. All wild and overgrown now, but for about five miles you'd think that heaven just fell on the earth in the form of DAWES.

I like all of their stuff, but I'd still be happier seeing a Tom Goes To The Mayor movie.

Yeah, I might try them on their own cast, the Earwolf Presents one. It just didn't seem like they had time to  develop those characters from what little I heard on CBB. At the very least, I really trust Scott Aukerman's taste at this point; all of the people I've gotten introduced to via CBB are really good.

Having read a little of the screenplay (available online), I would say you're right that Barry Lyndon kind of got some of the tone of what Kubrick wanted to do with Napoleon — to make a sort of non-sentimental 'costume' pic, showing the past without the myths. But it would've been interesting to see Napoleon just

The funniest thing that guy ever did was sit there while Dana Carvey imitated him.

Coming from that background, actually, I also find Ronna and Beverly grating. They're just aggressively unpleasant in a way that seems less funny to me than, say, Andy Daly's deranged characters.

Whew, thank god. I was going out of my mind wondering when the last of the meat was gonna get here.

Sux, but then again Warp now features the music of Vincent Gallo, so… it all evens out?

This news makes me So, So Ssudio. :(

Hey, douchey and pretentious I am (I own an expensive douching saddle), but don't misunderstand: I wasn't saying that all American techno/dance acts suck. But often the ones that get the most mainstream buzz here do. (Also, I don't actually hate Skrillex — a certain low level of shittiness in music is fine.)
