AM also used to be a member of Crazy Town.
Wait, What?
Look, I know Douglas Adams was unhappy with how he ended "Mostly Harmless" and wanted to end the series "on an upbeat note" and "with all the characters in one place for once". I mean, the last radio series kind of got that out of the way already.
I mostly went for a mixture of obvious picks (both Los Campesinos! albums, Vampire Weekend) and lesser known picks that were fantastic (Laura Marling, Darker My Love, Throw Me The Statue).
Yes, I've said this before, the Grim Reaper is moving from cast members of "Soul Men" to people on my "heroes" list on MySpace. If this is the case, than John Cleese and Nick Hornby need to be careful.
Oh it did. It's the comment above.
I had something to say.
Did it submit or not? I don't know.
About Time
This gets its own story instead of piggybacking in Popless and the DFW article.
I don't know, I bought it off Amazon, but it most likely did. Reformation Post TLC certainly got released here, too and I liked Fall Heads Roll - mostly for the fantastic "Blindness". I actually have lost track of what label The Fall is on.

First I lose one of my favorite writers and now a member of my favorite band has died of cancer.
Yeah, but the majority of people who read this are from either the US, Canada, Iceland (maybe?) and Europe.
"yes, as you so astutely point out, there are readers all over the world"
Comments? Already?
You know, it amazes me that this already has comments at 1:00/12:00/11:00/10:00 (pick a coast).
No. No. No.
First Album
I think I already mentioned this before in the comments for a recent Popless: Radiohead's "OK Computer" which I bought on New Year's Eve, 1999, one day after my tenth birthday for $10 on cassette.
Yes, it does. I think Jenny Lewis' solo album was a bit better, but "Under the Blacklight" had some great songs on it ("The Moneymaker", "Dreamworld", "Silver Lining") but none are as good as "Rise Up With Fists!!" (very few songs are). And yes, Jenny Lewis is a cutie pie. Only Kate Nash and Zooey Deschanel are cuter…
…I've Got Nothing.
Roxy Music - One of those bands that debuted with a fantastic single ("Virginia Plain") that never made a song as good, but came close many times (and all of those times resulted in classic songs).
Okay we get it, you're referencing Suicidal Tendancies. Would you rather have a Check-Plus or a gold star?
