Yeah, I should be used to it by now but Survivor and Jeff's gender bias really grates. Admittedly, this season had weak players but I think they could have spent more time with the female players in the finale (especially in the reunion). Keith dominated the first hour of the finale!

I had this same thought. Jon in an exit interview said that Baylor and Jaclyn we're going to take one for the team, so all Natalie's conniving just switched Jon for Jac in the final three (and made her look like a great game player willing to make big moves). So basically, great job Nat!

I agree that it's a completely different thing to ask when they've seen the whole season as opposed to being on the island (also the possible friendly fire of a Keith closing argument).

Nope. He did it to put Gervase in third since Gerv betrayed Aras (and Vytas). Monica finished second.

Absolutely Yes to both.

Unlike most of this season, I was sure that Morgan was going home tonight given the number of confessionals she got and how it seemed the camera lingered on her even more than usual. Throw in the minority throwing their votes on Tony who had been relatively quiet and it was a foregone conclusion.

Thanks for responding and clarifying Ben! I can absolutely appreciate that the money and time spent on so many mediocre blockbusters always disappoints. I guess I just frequent pop culture/movie websites that highlight the good stuff that sometimes gets ignored by the general public and get frustrated when people I

Does anyone here listen to Nerdist Writers Panel? I listen on occasion, but I think the Karina Longworth episode has convinced me to stop. In the second half of the podcast, Ben Blacker

Agreed. I really enjoyed the early episodes, but feel they fell off somewhat. They seem to often come up with off-base theories based on half-accurate information a bit too often for my taste. Which is funny, since this is what they are generally accusing the conventional wisdom of doing.

I'll go with Trish, Sarah, J'Tia, and LJ

I'm joining this discussion late, but I always found Australia to be a great second place strategy. In the games I played, the Australia player could easily survive, but is so boxed in and lacking in good bonuses that he can't really win. Always surprised to find people who claim it is the winning strategy.

It's sort of a put on, although he is from Alabama.

Thanks again for running this Judge! One question - I think last season you gave the final breakdown of points by Survivor player. Could we see that again? I'm assuming Tyson ran away with it based on the final jury vote and immunity wins.

That was exactly my thought when it happened. Vytas setting himself up to try to make that play stick if he gets to come back.

The more I think about it, the less certain I am that Gervase could have done anything different to take out Tyson. Tracking back, he couldn't vote for Tyson the last two tribals, siding with Hayden and Ciera at the first final five would have been jury suicide, and that issue existed at final six most likely as

I just realized - an all-Winners season could involve Fabio! I would love to see him interacting with the top-level strategists.

Has anyone else listened to the Survivor Know It Alls podcast? Stephen was unduly harsh on Ciera, I thought. He knocked her for not trying to save her mother even though we saw her try to switch the vote to Katie. He also seems to have a viewpoint these days that nothing shown happened. Which I guess is one way to

Happy to help!

I was having that same issue, but today I tried refreshing after navigating to the home page and Voila! Makes no sense that you have to do this and it will be really weird if you have to do it every time, but that is how it worked for me.

It seems like too many unknowables at this point. If Ciera engineered a move to boot Tyson, then maybe that swings some votes her way. Tyson did have the confessional this week about Ciera being smarter than expected (though this probably just presages her boot in the near future).
