Yeah, this is one of my pet peeves. Having been both in the military and a police officer I get pretty annoyed by the military and/or police officer wife who gets all pissy because her husband is actually doing his job.

That's one of the things I liked about the Lethal Weapon movies…they showed reloading.

I actually own a vehicle that backfires when you turn it off. I've had police cars pull up to me when I've parked at a gas station. To be fair, the vehicle is 25 years old.
