Wait until they see Timon of Athens.

There's something to this. Nobody can snark like O'Neal, but all the writers seem to try to these days, so there's a kind of tonal numbness to a lot of the articles.

What baffles me is that the commenters at Deadspin et al hate Kinja. Univision would be better off having everyone use Disqus. (Although I know this is impossible since Kinja is more than just a commenting platform.)

Seriously someone should have asked Cube if he stands by 'No Vaseline'. Strongly agree that the other guests who dressed down Maher were much better.

Considering how much the content's been cut back, and how Gawker-esque the remaining content is becoming, there really isn't a whole lot to read here. These days I literally come here for the comment sections, which wasn't always the case.

Well, not bro enough for the bros who were oh so offended by her Leftovers reviews (which indeed I thought tried a little too hard to be politically relevant, but you have to strain really hard to be offended by them)

Urgh. AV Club is Gawker now.

Living In Clip is one of the few live records that I prefer to the studio recordings. She's amazing in concert (at least she was in the 1990s–to be honest I'd pretty much forgotten about her).

I can appreciate this argument but I disagree. I think it's gone rather too meta-, and it's become a bit too enamored of its own mythology. To me, too many of the episodes in recent year come across as Always Sunny fan fiction. To a great extent the show's always been a deconstruction and reassemblage of sitcom

Minutemen, the Who's Got the 10 1/2? lineup of Black Flag, Husker Du. As a teenage fan of all three I was too young, poor, and distant from any urban area to see them in concert.

Seems like FX[X] is letting the gang take their time, like HBO with Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Sad news; one of my favorite 'hey it's that gal' actors. (I feel like we've been losing a lot of them lately…) Can't believe she was 63; I would have guessed she was in her 40s.

I just want to observe that AV Club canceled My Year of Flops, but here's an article about a Spotify playlist.

Flock of Seagulls haircut jokes are the lowest form of humour

Even better, the sketch was written by Paul Mooney, so no further approval was necessary.

FWIW Maher didn't address this at all in his show in Indianapolis last night, aside from opening with 'So how was YOUR weekend?' I actually suspect he's not going to double down on this; he'll apologize and try to move on. (Not that this makes him any less of a racist; just an observation on how he's going to try to

Sounds like Kate could write for the AV Club.

So smooth!

Hello man, you got Cookiepuss' number?

The first episode of Vinyl is great; the rest is bollocks.
