Did Fallon tousle her hair?

'There were a number of knock offs on other networks … one with two guys and a maid'

Roper, but no disrespect to Furley.

'Three’s Company was widely watched by children, who responded to the bumbling physical comedy more than the double entendres.'

I think if someone at a trivia night doesn't know Franco Zeffirelli, that's on them.

Don't do AV Club's job for them. It's what they're counting on. They're exploiting the commentariat's willingness to work for free!

Nancy != Ron. Although it's potentially revealing that at the time that Nancy seemed to be more of an acceptable target than Ron.

I'd say 'black-and-white' is less simplistic, and more appropriate, than '#notalltrumpvoters cause I know a guy'. Also, I'd think of 'dumb Trump voters' and 'evil Trump voters' as two poles with shades in between rather than two absolutes. There's your complexity!

Feinstein is someone who needs to be primaried from the left. Get on it, disaffected Sanders supporters!

I may be forgetting stuff, but no I'm not. The Ebersol years–which covered most of his presidency–were pointedly-hands off. I don't even remember who would play Reagan in sketches (I vaguely remember Randy Quaid? And of course Hartman later.) In fairness SNL wasn't as overtly political then as it is now.

Naw, Trump voters are pretty easily explained: paraphrasing Deniro firing Joe Bob Briggs, if they didn't see that Trump was scamming them they're dumb; if they did they're in on it. There's no middle ground to give Trump voters any quarter.

Sure, but at this point it's really difficult, and therefore preemptively dismissive, to label any hatred for Trump or his supporters 'blind'. He is/they are who we thought they were.

And they never laid a glove on Reagan.

That's bullshit. Mr Greene's a righteous dude, and he knows his Shakespeare.

But he uses Powerpoints! With charts! He's a wonk!

'You got the touch; you got the power.'

Happy birthday!

Is this just a placeholder for the full 'What's On Tonight' article?

'They axed like half of their current tv reviews this week'

They did seem to tone down the meta this season; it was unbearable in season 11. But it still has a kind of fan-fiction vibe to it.
