Woody Allen is innocent.

No, but when Jimmy Snuka was charged for the murder of Nancy Argentino, it's because he probably did it. Also, Vince McMahon probably helped him getting out of being charged in '83.

No, we're cheering people getting what they voted for! It doesn't happen enough in modern democracies and should be celebrated when it does

The key too-often-overlooked problem is that in secondary and increasingly post-secondary education, 'critical thinking' has been de-emphasized in favor of 'job-ready skills'.

Thing is, that's not wrong.

'as comedians they'll make fun of who has the power not who doesn't'

I think that's the endgame. Make a few tweaks that even Democrats have been trying to pass for years and rebrand the law, with Trump claiming that he repealed Obamacare completely and replaced it. America, being dumb, will fall for it.

The difference though is that Alex Smith doesn't blow off his conditioning and get winded in the last two minutes of the super bowl

Greatest goddamned play in football history

Oh yes we are. Kelly gutted the damn team. I'm a lifetime Eagles fan but I love it when Jackson torches us when we play Washington. (There's some buzz that Philly wants him back.)

Perhaps because I'm a proudly lapsed Roman Catholic, I really enjoyed this. You know the first American Pope, young or not, is going to be a complete asshole.

Certainly there's a distinction between the

Not a trick. I bow to your obviously superior knowledge of Mr. Reznor's weight fluctuations. But that video I've always wondered whether fat or jacked, though suspecting the former.

The problem is essentially that both-sides-do-it humor, or even 'Donald Trump is your inappropriate uncle' humor, is really toothless and pointless. SNL doesn't have to do political humor, but if they do it the jokes should be a step above Jay Leno or Mark Russell. (I'd also strongly disagree that SNL 'mostly leans

I think 'you have to be high enough to enjoy it' pretty much summarizes the first six years of SNL. The Dick Ebersol era may not have been SNL's best but at least he got his cast and writers to try to conceptualize actual jokes.

Single digits now I think.

Here's a question for you: in the video for 'I'm Afraid of Americans', is Trent fat or jacked?

The new episode was pretty good. Jones was clearly nervous for the monologue but was game for the sketches. SNL needs to either find some teeth in its political humor or stop trying to be political entirely.
