Of course it's a terrible plan from a business standpoint, but fuck that, real rock'n'roll isn't afraid of lawsuits. And I'd want to see Ocasek on the stand defending this.

Fuck The Cars. Matador should just release the album and dare them to sue.
The comments about Gov. Martinez were really odd because I thought she was at the top of Trump's VP shortlist. Not so, I guess.
What do you feel about people who went $200000 in debt for a petroleum engineering degree who are now working at Starbucks because the energy market collapsed and they can't find work?
I hear this a lot, but at least in my neck of the woods, trade schools aren't having trouble attracting students.
House of Cards is horrible.
Not surprised about Boardwalk Empire, another show that was often considered a disappointment because it didn't meet people's expectations, not because it was bad per se.
Maybe. But Twin Peaks wasn't around for The Internet to declare it week-in week-out as the worst thing ever. I think people just lost interest in it until it went away. Also, while Twin Peaks Season 2 still has detractors (I among them) I'd say on the whole it's been positively re-evaluated.
I think it was overplotted but otherwise just as good as season 1. I guarantee it will be 'rediscovered' in five years once the phrase 'True Detective' no longer gives off the pavlovian response 'SEASON TWO SUCKED'.
That sounds about right. Last Sucker is the only Ministry I've liked since Psalm 69. Honestly I'll still buy KMFDM's new stuff; it's not bad, just nothing new. It's a shame that a band that used to be so unpredictable has been stuck in a 20-year rut.
It was probably MotherFucking Depeche Mode, who should be Killed
Thanks dude. Only the finest vintage Ministry and KFMDM for me!
Ministry, 'I'm Falling (Live 1982)'
Dead or Alive, 'Something In My House'
Einsturzende Neubauten, 'Open Fire'
KMFDM, 'Split (Mirrorball Mix)'
Rosetta Stone, 'Adrenaline (Extended)'
Sugar, 'And You Tell Me'
The The, 'Love Is Stronger Than Death'
3 Angry Poles, 'It's All Over'
Pulsars, 'Tunnel Song'
The Fall, 'Eat Yourself…
Upvoted for kickass appropriation of Hamlet.
West Virginia's always (at least during my lifetime) been a conservative state, even though Joe Manchin (always the most conservative democrat) held on for a long time. Dukakis is a bad example since the Great Sort started in the 1994 election. For the most part, WV hates Democrats because they think they destroyed…
Add to that list: the media's hated of Gore (a transference of their hatred for Clinton) which led to almost uniformly negative coverage of his campaign, and mostly positive coverage of Bush's. This is the element that's really been swept under the rug since 2000, but since we're getting into a presidential election…
But Ferris is a necessary element of Cameron wrecking his car.
I'm just going to stop you right here:
'the Democrats have become more Left too even if less so than the GOP has gone Right.'
'would I be wrong if I said that I think the left has to shoulder some of the blame for the rise of Trump?'
Naderites have a lot of dumb arguments to try to absolve Nader of any blame for 2000, but 'Gore couldn't win his home state' is, by several orders of magnitude, the dumbest. Gore never had a shot at TN, and his campaign strategy didn't depend on it. This is because, after the partisan realignments in the 1994…
