I hate to be negative about a show that is so well made and that features such wonderful characters/performances, but does anyone else get frustrated as heck about the snail's pace and the dearth of major advancements to the narrative? Like, did I just watch a season finale? Because it sure as shit did not feel like

I don't disagree. I mean I love the show and so am along for the ride, even with the TV-ish-ness of things always working out how they need to. I do imagine it's possible to achieve the end Elliott achieved there, but I agree that more often than not, you'd just be like "Umm, what? Piss off!" Haha.

No, he explained in the pilot that he sees the company as so evil that his brain virtually auto-corrects the name into "Evil Corp." Thus, us hearing that is a constant reminder that we're seeing/hearing the world through him.
