SPOILERS for Avengers Arena #3

Christos Gage also did the fantastic GI Joe: Cobra series from IDW with Mike Costa (available now in hardcover as GI Joe: Cobra: The Last Laugh).  Highly recommended.  His series Absolution from Avatar was also solid - not sold on the end, but it's worth a read.  I keep meaning to check out more of his stuff, but my

Yeah.  There was a bar in my hometown we used to call "The Bar of Broken Dreams."

It's odd - I remember when the NYC episode first aired, and I remember thinking even then that it felt odd and off-putting; wrong, somehow.  The weird Mad magazine thing, the ending felt like it landed wrong, the Looney Tunes up and down the towers thing….I dunno.  I'm surprised it was a Season 8 leftover, actually, I

Honestly, just reading that made me crack up.

Yeah, my first was TMBG.  And possibly my second.  Apollo 18 and then John Henry a couple years later.

Yeah.  Like, we the readers think Logen is awesome, but a lot of characters think he's the most evil bastard who ever lived.  And they have a pretty strong argument.

I didn't really care for Best Served Cold when I first read it, without realizing it was part of a loose series.  A few years later I read the First Law Trilogy, thought they were pretty good, and then re-read Best Served Cold and liked it a bit more.

You really can't watch this show with half your attention, clearly, because I don't have a goddamn clue what's going on.  So the CIA guys are undercover (?) in the cartel and they need guns for some reason.  And Jax needed Clay alive because the IRA will only deal with Clay and Jax needs the IRA to get the Cartel/CIA
