I'm 2 weeks behind and have about 900 unread comments on this episode where this might be mentioned, but I thought he was a dead-ringer for Albert Finney.

DON'T WRI—-nah, I'm not going there.

How many TV characters have climbed up the depth chart on their show's roster during their run like Donna has? She was practically an afterthought early on and now she's pretty much the lead character.

Apparently it's true that no one watches this show. It's been 18 hours since it aired and GIFs of Lindsey trying to make out with Gretchen while wearing a sexy nurse outfit haven't broken the internet.

I don't know about other outdoor "sheds" on the Summer circuit but Pine Knob outside of Detroit (ok, DTE, you youngsters) is not far from a residential area and they have a hard curfew of 11pm on concerts there…I have heard the fine is something like 10 grand per minute over, and it's boilerplate contract language

I don't know how many people reading this have stayed in decent (Hampton/HI Express, etc.) freeway-exit chain hotels recently (especially on weekends) but I swear the entire concept of "youth travel sports teams" is a plot by the hotel industry to keep revenues stable.

Do people outside of Detroit get this? BTW, never eat spinach with a stranger.

They're all up on Hulu. See if you can get a 2-week free trial or pay 8 bucks and watch that and Difficult People.

Although, for anyone else who wanted to see Crazy ExG but didn't catch on quickly enough with the CW's on-demand rules, season 1 is on Netflix now.

I understand your point, but when I did a season 2 re-watch and got there I sat there thinking "I know how this ends" through the whole thing and had this sort of separation from it where I could enjoy how everything builds and just appreciate the capital-m Mastery of how they made that episode. The ending is still a

Hey Dennis Perkins, if you want a copy of the "A Matter of Degrees" soundtrack, let me know. I'm trying to remember what one rarity was on there that caused me to buy it?

I noticed the granite countertops! But what is a "Busy Susan"? I may need to google that and report back…

…and boy, are these people ever superhuman in their ability to get large-scale arena country tours up and running FAST.

One thing that always bugged me about this show was the lack of foreshadowing or callbacks with short-term characters. No one ever casually mentions Juliet's Tebow-esque ex-husband throwing 4 TDs some Sunday; never is anyone listening to a new record Liam's produced; Maddie was never a fan of Marcus's band in season

Much agreement with your comment - the past few years I've tried to do more critical thinking about the hows and whys of making scripted TV when I watch, and the first couple seasons of this show you could pretty much see the writers and producers trying to figure out what they were doing as you watched the show.

Beat me to it. The Barbie Museum!!

I have a TCM app on my Amazon Kindle that rotates in about 30-40 movies at a time…each film is available for a couple weeks, and each title probably shows up about twice a year. There's a lot of overlap between what's on the app and what you can watch on TCM On Demand at any given time, but generally there's more

Yes, Dispepsi is a great starting point for someone in their 30s or 40s who remembers 1980s advertising. It's not too weird, too long or too political, and the songs in it are pretty great. Use headphones.

I've heard Dick Vaughn is a prostitute.

That would probably be the most recent one, but that also moved to XD exclusively a few years ago so it probably skipped my mind.
