Absolutely. It very quickly becomes its own thing though, so don't expect it to be stylistically akin to Sandman. But it is amazing on its own merits. There is just as much interesting and complex world building and character arcs and all that good fun stuff.

Final Verdict on Sandman? As good as ever! But then again, I pretty much count it as my favorite piece of art in general, so I'm quite fond it, even though it isn't perfect. Would it be my favorite piece of art if I only read it now, not when I was a freshman in college? I don't know. But it hit me at the right time

@flowsthead, that blows, especially since, if I remember correctly, volume 4 is the hardest to find. Maybe you could *cough* find the issues of volume 4 in a nefarious manner *cough* so that you can read it all now, and then keep looking for volume 4 to complete your set. I would imagine that as the new Book Two or

I had always assumed that Destruction had come back to babysit/watch over Delirium as she healed from whatever traumatic experience caused her to need to be rescued in the Delirium part of the story. That's why Delirium is with him - if left alone, she might disappear into herself again.

Amazon is showing Lucifer Book One for release on June 4. $20.00 new, with 15 issues. $30.00 MSRP.

Just to let @Scrawler2:disqus and anyone else interested in Lucifer a heads up:

I love that I have no idea what Jane was expecting to happen here, other than her just seeing herself as so justified and correct she just expected the crowd to side with her.

Don't worry - literally has long ago taken up the alternate meanings of "figuratively." Don't let the prescriptivists get you down. They are literally Hitler.

My favorite is still when Dave and Alex are talking about previous Halloween costumes, and how they would go as two different Sean Penn characters, only for Alex to reveal how she never liked the costumes. Dave responds "But I thought you loved Double Penn." Dirty!

Considering the show, they wanted you to take it a supremely dirty way.

Just remind your loved ones that if they want to visit you, just walk out into nature and birdwatch. That's where you are. You are birds.

I totally want a sky burial now.

The Sandman is probably my personal favorite piece of art, and the funeral procession is probably why. I'm not sure why it affects me so well, but I can't read those few pages without tears welling up.

Well this is the final season, so we know exactly when it's ending! Still time to catch up!

I wouldn't recommend going to the Unacceptable subreddit. I wouldn't recommend it it all.

Well the show hasn't really shown Jake tending to pre-fatherly duties or anything. I suspect the show will just do Jake the Father stories when it feels like it, and do Jake the Adventurer stories the rest of time. Maybe somtimes he'll bring his puppies too!

Jake pokes her pregnant belly (belly button?).
