I've always seen Punch Drunk Love as a sort of a "manchild fairy tale." The plot is completely ridiculous, but plot is sort of beside the point.

I remember reading (on Bleeding Cool, I think?) that Aaron and Guera may have something in the works at Vertigo, actually. It wouldn't be as big a project as Scalped, though.

That is one of my favorite images from the series too! I loved the one-off stories throughout the series, and this was one of the stronger ones for me.

There have been trades all along. I believe 9 volumes are out, and the 10th (and final) volume is due out next month. Get to reading!

Loved the write up, loved the series. Will be rereading it from the start quite soon.

I've never pulled a gun out with the intent to kill, but I imagine that the adrenaline and nerves involved would make it hard to really rationalize/stop and reconsider what I'm doing. In those two seconds it took to pull and shoot, Todd wasn't being logical. He was making a decision and following through. A horrible,

That whole sequence probably got the biggest laughs from me. I loved the "We're about to be eaten by a giant spider!" "There's no time for that, the professor needs us!" and then followed by them nonchalantly landing on earth bit.

@avclub-323ca7b091beb1b26cc7a2612f1475d5:disqus , absolutely. I'm usually not the biggest fan of fart jokes, but the fart joke in It Came from the Nightosphere is still one of my favorite Adventure Time moments.
