I'm going.
I think we watched "Persona" in half of my film classes and it got more interesting, cohesive and even entertaining each time.
After screening Gasper Noe's "Carne," which opens with a real horse being slaughtered and all of its blood drained, my film professor said, "I showed you this instead of 'Irreversible,' because though it is a masterpiece, I could never require someone to watch it."
I love everything about this interview.
I love everything about this interview.
Plus, I don't remember Don ever capitulating to Betty in a fight like this. I think Megan made her point, Don understood that he was wrong and their relationship became a little bit stronger.

If you re-examine the dinner conversation, I think you'll find Ken's short story had a different meaning than you thought.
I'm pretty sure they filmed parts I and II together, like "Lord of the Rings." Each part cost a billion.
Restraint
The promise of watching episode 7 this very moment is tempting, but if I do then I'll have to fill a two week hiatus before episode 8. I'm going to try to hold out for five days, but know that I'll probably crack around midnight.
ZMF would never apologize for making a ZMF-style comment, and neither should you. Unless, of course, you were to steal his all-caps approach. Then you'd deserve some serious ownage.
And yes, Sesbro should have fought more, but at least he didn't fake a religious conversion just to save his ass.
Add my name to the list of first-time television programming activists. Although, I did sign a petition to bring "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" to DVD. Let's hope this campaign is every bit as successful.
Eddie
This was the second or third episode in which Eddie seemed to be successfully chatting up a broad (granted one of them was in the whorehouse) when Nucky put an end to the conversation. I took this as a clue that Eddie was more suave and levelheaded then his usual bumbling assistant role seemed to suggest.
I…
Watcho wins.
Fire
I'm pretty sure it was a fire marshall that Nucky made the crack about the envelope to. It just goes that much deeper.
@Ray Carney: I like your glasses.
P.S. Please send me the original cut of Shadows that Gena Rowlands won't allow you to screen.
Scott Douchebag is the most apt name since Johnny Appleseed.
An hour
I just wasted an hour reading these comments and getting mad when I should have been sleeping or watching a couple episodes.
Grimes lives!
The River
Here's a clip from an IFC news conference where Wes talks about Scorcese suggesting he watch a print of "The River."
