When will DC learn that the best crossover would be a Herogasm type party for DC heroes?

If anyone goes looking for miracle man, be prepared to pay some coin. They are not cheap as the early ones were short printed. I have a couple , but been too cheap to pay a lot for the ones I do not have.
Considering how people thoroughly over rate Alan Moore, I am was surprised he was only mentioned once. Watchmen was good, not the greatest shit ever like most people think. Swamp Thing was better. Marvelman was strong. Most of his stuff is just okay. Top 10, league, promethea , tom strong ….meh. Don't get me…
When did Alpha Flight become a fan favorite?
Can someone be classified as forgotten if I have never heard of them? However, as soon as the browser closes, he will be forgotten, and not sadly forgotten either, but more of a I'm watching Eddie and the Cruisers from 1983 instead forgotten……on the dark side indeed
I wouldn't buy that for a $1
too mainstream for this crowd.
Correct. Hedge it on 1983, french , family drama…..hedge your bets on that and then just pass.
Any 1983 family drama should begin with Vacation….when she talks about french kissing….the tension is unbearable. I am sure the elitist critics will be jumping on Terms of endearment, videodrome( just see raves on any crtierion board), and yentl for the rest of the week…just wait for the snobs here to honor these and…
I loved The Boys. The best part was the summer blockbuster event for the heroes. I have my brother's copy of sidekick sitting on my desk and after him telling me about it, read The Brat Pack instead. If anyone wants a skewering satire on sidekicks, read Rick Veitch's Brat Pack.
I watched private school on starz the other night and forgot just how awesome she looked int he 80s.
That is not true. If it is an obscure movie that only critics liked, it can be from any year. But it has to be obscure. If everyone has seen it, they must shit all over it. But if nobody has seen it, it's marvelous.
As old as Ford looked, I was looking for his father's funeral to take place in Indy 4. Then I saw the movie and realized it was the death of Indiana Jones as a franchise. Had the space ship at the end been the Millenium Falcon flown by Chewbacca, it would have been the best movie ever.
I was thinking more of a derelict house. With the skaters outside in the pool, and the black spray tag inside the living room, I could easily see punks smoking weed or , in a great twist, smoking meth in the house.
don't feed the trolls.
That is what I saw also. I think Donna was trying to read too much into this.
Death by Aztec is second only to death by box cutter. I still think the end of season 4 is the greatest jab-jab-KO punches thrown in the series. Gus dying, then Walt telling Skyler he won, then the Lily of the Valley in his backyard.
I liked this ending a lot because of the ambiguity. I think it gets over rated because of the hatred for the sopranos ending around the same time, which I also liked. I always took the sopranos ending as a life will go on the same no matter what happens type thing, whereas too many people want resolution. I have a…
I am just glad this is not on network television. I would not want to see a skinny pete/badger spinoff where they get clean and work at mcdonalds. Or gomez joins law and order and always whines about his dead ex partner.
As usual, I disliked the eisners. Like everything critical with movies, books, music, most are chosen to be edgy choices. I read the first volume of saga and disliked it, not measurably, but disliked it. Not a big fan of building stories either. It's like they pick their favorites and have to laud only those. I…
