Joy Ride is a very good B movie. Joy Ride should be force-fed to the next person who is considering making another remake, reboot, rehash horror movie. If Joy Ride was on right now, I would watch the shit out of it.

Wait, this is the AV Club, so he must be talking about Firefly.

Cop Rock was set in Baltimore?

Just got caught up.
Random thoughts.

The dialog went something like this:

Def Leppard was huge when I was a youngster. It made perfect sense to me as a brothers-bonding song. That's not to say it made sense for the show, but it made sense for me personally.

I'm mulling over the possbility Not-Locke has lots of foreknowledge of what happens to the 815ers. (Or, thanks to time traveling skips and jumps, hindsight.)

Fucking gravity bubbles … how do they work?

bloat
My vague recollection of reading The Gunslinger was, hey, Stephen King wrote a book that was lean and not all that self-indulgent! Neat! Then the next books … were a lot fatter.

"It's turtles all the way down!"

I really like this theory. Except … alt-Eloise didn't pop a cap in Desmond to protect her alt-world. She said to him, "you're not ready yet" and let him go on his way

Sarah Palin elected president. Entire world dies in a fireball caused by a critical mass of stupid.

Flash-sideways
I like 'em.

I have to admit, if it weren't for these comment threads, I would have completely forgotten about this. And as it is, I barely remember it. I feel pretty safe in saying that this is one dividing line between casual fan and Lost junkies.
