Having read both, I think World War Z had more potential than TWD, but it's probably too late now. WWZ on HBO might have been legendary.

I had high hopes for this film, but I also thought the book would be almost impossible to recreate as a 2 hour movie. The previews had some decent scenes, but the zombies themselves were a huge disappointment. They are just masses of CGI. I guess that's what thousands of recently turned zombies would look like chasing
