breaking into someone's house, buying an entire apartment as a gift and then saying I love you is just a tad bit creepy… I know it was supposed to highlight Jody's romantic side but honestly all it did was Jody's wrong for Mindy kind of like Danny is…. the love triangle doesn't really work if it's getting harder and

idk if this is a viable option but I've always found live chatting a fun activity to accommodate show viewing. I;ve only been a part of them via small fan-hosted ones but it seems like a decent option to replace the reviews. I mean I'm going to miss the reviews themselves but at least the live chatting feature would

Honestly to me Jeremy+Morgan being the ones to tell Danny to back off, instead of Mindy, a bit.. nonsensical and insulting somewhat. I mean the whole Danny-storming in-Jody's-office thing did happen but it happened so many episodes ago it no longer felt like a viable threat. I can see the Jody-Mindy-Danny conflict

As someone who's loved the iannucci era of the show and enjoyed single episodes from season 5, here's why I'm kind of unsatisfied with the finale and season 5 as a whole:
For me, Veep was basically "Welcome to Washington DC, the town where everything's messed up and your efforts don't matter" meaning every episode

True, I did appreciate the Mother episode which wouldn't have been possible without the Nevada plotline…. except I wish the Nevada thing did more than just give us a few things to appreciate and actually have some impact on the season-long plot. I kept on wondering if OBrien winning the popular vote would come back

I hope the storyline goes: Jonah's lump turned out to be benign but he decided to get it removed just in case, the surgery goes wrong and he ends up with one testicle. He's sudden;y fuckable because he's the congressman+ all the pity over the ball cancer scare but all the girls freak out when they find out he only has

true, and I wouldn't have a hard time looking over these little details being ignored had it been for a real purpose. Here it's just to make Selina's worst nightmares come true (Mandel's own words) and I really don't see the point in that. lazy, unfunny /and/ inaccurate writing. you just can't defend that

I agree with this 100%, especially since a show with a democratic president and republican vice president is ripe with potential, even in a show like veep where party lines are kind of meaningless.

I think season 5 gave tremendous single episodes, (like Mother and Congressional Ball imo) but as a season… eh…. I mean it dropped all these hints about future events but they never came together… and, honestly, I've seen a lot of people saying having Selina just lose as the final gut punch is smart but I just think

I just came back from reading David Mandel's AV club interview and idg his obsession with making Selina's worst nightmares come true. I mean I agree seeing another woman take her coveted spot as "first elected woman president" but… I don't get why he was so fixated on it, and more importantly Montez… wasn't….

I mean idk if the Goebbels reference is the /strangest/ thing that could happen on the show but youre on point about what DM does to previously tremendous shows. All the complex characteristics of veep characters were shaved off and traded in for flat caricatures of themselves. I think Dan, Amy and Kent suffered the
