Does he do PCP? Again, I stopped reading the article when I heard his idea of funny. Is there a paragraph about doing lots of PCP and how it affects both his spirituality and sense of humor? If so, perhaps I will read on.

I love Animal Collective's recorded music, but I've had almost no enthusiasm to spare for them since seeing them live at All Tomorrow's Parties this year—their performance was the only truly disappointing one at that festival, and one of the most disappointing musical performances I've ever seen ever: a bunch of

Yeah, you lost me at
"I was dying laughing at fucking 'Heartbreak Kid.' …That movie is funny as shit."

This little thread is a WIN!

My kids are 4 and 2, and sat rapt through this entire film. They loved it, though my 4-year-old daughter cried quietly for much of it—the emotions it evoked really resonated for her, while my son just loved the monsters.

There's no review existing…

They're (He's) just so, so great. I am disturbed by this.

What the hell, AV Club—
No love for East River Pipe? This guy is amazing.

Good point! It would have been way more appropriate over there. (Maybe they just didn't know how quietly beloved it is…maybe it could still turn up over there.)

This movie should have just been a "Success"—nothing secret about it.

Seriously, what's not to absolutely love about this film?
I don't think I could think of anything less-than-glowing to say about this movie—as someone who grew up on Archie Comics, and who loves satire and music and beautiful women, this movie was like a dream come true for me. I enjoyed just about every single

Youlagy

East River Pipe
As someone for whom his driver's license transformed his (and his friends') entire adolescence into something shot through with light and adventure and risk and freedom—featuring everything from tossing firecrackers into the open doorways of grocery stores, blowing up mailboxes, and finally, crashing

Oh…man, I'm retarded. I thought "Ninety words" was the title of a Fiona Apple album. Sorry.
