But Dredd won a lot of hearts and critical praise. That doesn't mean anything to a bank account, but it at least had that.

I'm just going to wait for the bargain bin at Wal-Mart.

I'm hoping Ellis goes the unexpected route and gives us a comic about the day Bond rescued a kitten from a tree and had a nice cuppa after.

I heard about it on the podcast Retronauts, where they praised it to high heaven. I'm sad to hear that the genie in the bottle they caught with this game didn't translate to the others.

If memory serves, she also had one of her teeth knocked out while protesting against the Mike Harris government.

Read Alan Moore's 'Providence'. Really enjoyed it. The art is breathtakingly detailed, and makes me wonder why I've never seen this man's art before. Finished the last episode of Season One of Fargo. Enjoyed the references to the original film, Tarantino and even the Parker novels. Messed around more with Wario Land

Oh, I agree. At the time, in my callow youth, I found it irritating. In my creaking middle age I've finally learned that if people genuinely love and enjoy something that's wonderful and if you disagree with their choice, then keep it to yourself.

I have the same immature bullshit. When Nirvana was around I knew many people who thought them too 'edgy' and too 'out there' but they glommed straight onto the Foo Fighters. It felt like their way of getting onto the Nirvana bandwagon without being a weirdo.

Any extended seasonal break—winter or summer—means an RPG for me. Give me some ridiculous storyline, some irritating characters and a complex magic system and I'm a happy nerd.

Guardians of The Galaxy 2: The Long Way Home with new villain Supertramp is what it will be in my dreams.

Tiddleywinks sounds like Pennywise's dumber brother.

[insert 'buy for a dollar' joke]

That panic was up here in Canada as well. Backward masking was a big thing, with local churches having special meetings to listen to Led Zeppelin backwards and find the youth-warping messages hidden therein. I played Dungeons and Dragons, and my parents were terrified I would 'get into trouble'.

I'd pay cash money to see PHC and the CBC's Vinyl Cafe go toe to toe in a cornpone death match.

Was given Dragon Age: Inquisition as a gift for my 360. Maybe not the best system for it, but we'll see. Also playing Wario Land 2, which is quite a delight.

Gonna drop some beats on that, see what Dangermouse can do with it.

Or those Fail videos. Or that song by that guy from that thing.

Great article. I loved Calvin and Hobbes so much I used to buy the Detroit Free Press every day just to read it and I don't even live in Detroit.

Just re-started that New Vegas last night. I never got past Smiley's first mission before. Playing on PS3 because I like getting stressed out playing Bethesda games on that console, waiting for the crash.

A strobe sabre technique might cause convulsions so nice Sith move, man. (high fives)
