Oh, okay. Thanks. A code name is a bit better than them running around with Justice League Dark membership cards.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow, or Live. Die. Repeat, or All You Need Is Kill: The Movie. Really enjoyed it. The final scenes were very dark, though, which makes me wonder if I saw a version with the budget 3-D effect slopped onto the print. It made some of the scenes just impenetrable to make out.

Even the thought of Constantine with anything Justice League makes me shudder.

Pacing was non-existent, so much was thrown in without even the tiniest bit of re-examination,(how many people know what Enocian script is, or what Nabu's helmet signifies?) but I still liked it. The pilot teeters on the edge of either getting much better or falling deep into the pit of Supernatural tedium. If they

My LCS is the same. Saturday afternoons can find often more women than men milling around the aisles. The biggest problem there aren't jerk fans but thieves who try to sell them product they've stolen from other stores. It's pretty common.

I read Gotham Academy and Future's End and just sat back regretting my purchases. End was boring, and Academy really didn't do anything terribly interesting or even fun. I'm getting far more enjoyment reading Berserk and Attack On Titan. American comics just continue to keep losing me.

I'd like to play Settlers of Catan with Jeff Bridges. I think I'd learn so much from him. Like maybe how to play.

Gillian Anderson and Alison Brie investigating a haunted shower room and the showers come on and they get wet and hug to stay warm and and and and

Oh, definitely. The art style is very cartoony, which may turn some people off, but I've grown to love both it and the solid writing. If you're enjoying IDW's Godzilla, you'll enjoy this.

The Tomb by F. Paul Wilson—Repairman Jack fights monsters. It's great Eighties potboiler action with a whiff of Lovecraft. I'm also enjoying Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett. Stupidly glorious Warhammer 40,000 K science fiction, which I think should be treasured and shared with any alien species we encounter, simply to show

I consider the IDW Ghostbusters series to be the only 'sequel' I'll ever need.

Just turned 49. I'm enjoying my last year of youth before it all fades to black and slippers.

The Winter Soldier
I loved the original Ed Brubaker storyline in the monthly Cap comic, so I was spoiled on the identity of the Winter Solider. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit, which leaves me apprehensive about how long Marvel movies will continue to be this good. But please, for the love of God, can they stop

Dragon Quest IX. The most cheerful game about death and loss I'll ever play.

Martha reminds me of Clara. She was just there, and was clever when the script needed her to be. I loved first season Rose, but she should have gone back to London after one season with Tennant. That whole parallel world thing should have merited RTD a quiet glare across the script table.

Clara is like the cute version of the Silence. When I think about her, I like her. But when I try to remember why I like her, my mind goes blank and I forget what I was thinking about.

There are people who still love Lady Death and Evil Ernie. They are seen as the golden years of comics.

I'd be curious to know how many fans just say 'Okay, I'm done' when a series does the second or third re-start in five years. Yes, I'm looking at you, Suicide Squad.

I really enjoyed the first three volumes of Genshiken. It dealt with the odder aspects of otaku culture fairly, while still having 'commoners' do great manga style freakouts at those aspects.

Started The Tomb, since I'm curious about this Repairman Jack fellow. Also dug into the Pathfinder Technology Guide. I had thought this would be Pathfinder's attempt to recreate the looney world of Spelljammer, but it has more of a Shadowrun feel to it than that. Solid game manual writing with pretty pictures.
