I don't know I quite liked the episode and while not dark there was something behind Ryan's character that was definitely a bit dark this episode. He was trying to improve himself but actually it was just him manipulating things towards his advantage which I found quite funny.

I really loved this show as well. A good opposite episode to The Constant(In the way its about Desmond losing Penny) that gave me a good tear as well is Flashes Before Your Eyes, where he goes back in time and realises he has to go on the island and push the button. That was really emotional.
