It got a reaction from people over here! A standing ovation in fact.

I didn't think it was very good but they've been building to Marcus and Debbie since we first met them and last week they made it very clear he was using "wolf pups" as a way to lure her to his side. Alcide follows a certain code and we've seen him be completely brutal before to uphold it. Also, he's a wolfman. They…
Arrested Development - "Prison Break-In"
A rare misstep from the usually whip smart show. Even more depressing because it came after the overlong Rita arc that had somehow managed to wrap up nicely. I remember, specifically, not laughing at anything.
Yeah. I think Andy and Terry quietly stole the show without a single supernatural in sight.
Nah. This was the first episode in a while where interesting things were happening and real character development took place. I think Sookie being revealed as a fairy and Bill's promise to take his grievance to a higher authority are both the ticking time bombs the season should have planted earlier. Revealing sweet…
I am loving this season in particular. It's intense and there's a real sense of jeopardy. I mean, I don't give a shit about Max's killer but I love that it's put Michael in the pressure cooker. It's fun when he's fighting out of a corner. I think this most recent episode differs from the other "hostage situation"…
It's just so goddamn watchable though. If someone put it on repeat, I'd just keep watching it until they shut off my power.
Awww
Fallene was like a sweet faun who got caught in the headlights and was smashed to bits by the eighteen wheels of fashion. I'm going to miss her fumbling innocence and red hair. I feel like if Bryce noticed she was "not cutting on the grain!" as he said to everyone within earshot, that he probably should have told…
The third was just as good. It was the most over the top and funky.
Vanitas owns
Great ballad. Chunky and heavy, somber and fragile. They should've ended the album there.
The Pitch
Ghost………………………………….. (takes a drink of water) ……………………………….fellas.
My vote is Portal 2. The co-op was heaven-sent. Runner-up is Catherine. Followed by Shadows of the Damned.
Best of 2011
I think Rango was the best film I've seen so far this year. Gorgeous animation, deranged style, wacky chemistry, and a subversive wit. Clearly the film is paying respect to the Western genre so some of it may seem derivative but it's definitely its own bizarre thing as well. Also, it's funny. Really…
Dang
Things were just getting good too. I'm hopeful that the real Bryce comes into play in these final three. We sorta dropped the Buck: Door-to-Door Hick Justice thread from earlier in the season. Poor Kate isn't going to get a happy ending though, her storyline his season has become unbearable saved only by her…
HR was way better at putting you in the moment. Its set pieces were also nail-biters. So far, I'm finding anything outside of LA NOIRE's investigation/interrogation side dull and bereft of gameplay ideas.
Calling you out Murray
"I've never been the biggest fan of the Deschanel sisters' acting chops, but Emily Deschanel is perfect for this role, since her somewhat stilted line-deliveries suit the character."
Bait n' Switch
First act is raunchy, hilarious ensemble fun. Then it settles into a Kristen Wiig vehicle about how far she can sink and really beats you over the head with it. She's wonderful and the other characters have a few moments here and there, but I couldn't help feeling they made the wrong movie.
This year's gimmick blows
The sequel thing just isn't working like "Why it's better than Marmaduke did." I couldn't get past the first three entries. It's not based in information we necessarily have, and much of it is just the writer being twee and clever. One "sequel themed" info block would have been okay but two…
