    Death has always been a fixation for the show. But in prior seasons deaths weren't telegraphed as obviously as Lane's was this season.

    Damn, this is a kickass article. The themes this year have been obnoxiously obvious, but I've been having trouble seeing how all the supernatural, science-fictional, prostitutional, zombie Rory Gilmore elements fit together. This article has really crystallized everything.

    I don't know, the notion of Megan and Peggy as "final girls" is pretty killer. And the empty elevator shaft was so over the top that SCDP as some sort of eater of souls isn't a huge stretch for me.
