Frankly, given what I've seen of the Bajoran politics plotline, I'm just as happy that they've mostly forgotten about it for the majority of the seasons. There's no delicate way to put this: It bores the shit out of me.

Eh, I can see that point of view. It IS very "fanfic"/"fanwank" -y.  But I had pretty lowered expectations of Enterprise at that point, and it was kind of fun. Plus that into is so much better than the Bryan Adams-esque cheesefest that is the normal Enterprise opening credits.
