You didn't miss anything. They introduced it last week, and it wasn't apart of any of the storylines this week. But, Johnny was there when Ava and Boyd were discussing Ellen May, so the Wynn Duffy tipping-off angle could be a thing.

Glad to know Indiana lawmakers are anti-meth. No doubt Leslie Knope passed a declaration in Pawnee to that effect.

I won't go to "worst of the series" territory for this episode, but I get how you feel about something being "off". There are a few things that rankled me:

Yeah, I took it as feigned offense taken by Raylan. The TOMBSTONE poster was a nice touch. Raylan probably thought, "Finally, somebody GETS me" when Rachel compared him to Wyatt.

Dickie's in jail. Or, at least I thought that was fairly obvious, given he was shot in the leg (a wound which has a 0% mortality rate on television), and was a wanted fugitive.

That does suck, and I don't think Boyd's going to handle it very well. Sure, he didn't mind giving Billy and his sister a beating and sending them on their way, but I think he did have some affinity for the kid and didn't want to see him dead. Billy called his bluff, in a moment of hubris, and I think it saddened poor

I get the feeling Art's continued utilization of "marshal stiffy" is his way of trying to talk like the cool kids. He keeps using it, thinking it's going to be taken by Raylan and Tim as cool, and they keep recoiling at it. Either that, or the writers are trotting out this tired phrase because they don't have other

I almost threw up reading this. 100% I'm having nightmares tonight. And probably replacing all the carpet in my kids' rooms.

Stay cool, Willie C.

You're right. I think she was saving money for a dee-vorce if ever she got a husband.

It could well be the result of Californication-esque low expectations, but I thought the S2 premiere was strong and I enjoyed watching it. I think you're right, @avclub-dc10fce584f2cdf09d6690e0f2883227:disqus about what they toned down and what they made more prominent.
But I still can't understand the value Doug

Solid review, @avclub-7aee1b75b527e215f31e20a5c4e7a768:disqus and I agree on just about everything. Still, this sentence:

Funny. But seriously…do you?

Thank you, indeed. Day made.

It wasn't established, and I think that'll be one of the lesser plots this season. And I agree, it might have something to do with the preacher cutting into Boyd's oxy distribution in a more tangible/less spiritual way. Good catch.

and…SCENE.

Shocked by how good that was. I started hate-watching this a few seasons back, but if the premiere is any indication, I'll start just plain ol' watching it again.
