Shocked by how good that was. I started hate-watching this a few seasons back, but if the premiere is any indication, I'll start just plain ol' watching it again.

Respectfully, I disagree. He's cool, smart, quiet, powerful, menacing. Granted, they'll need to make him lose his shit somewhat soon, in order to make all this restrained cool believable. But, for now, I think he's playing this well. Assuming a sort of mentor role to Jax, by his acknowledgement of his intelligence,

Good point in waiting for the deus ex Sutter that never came, forcing the episode to follow through on the implications of past actions. We're used to the "We have to do this!" only the get "NO, we have to do this MORE". Made for a slight surprise for me, but it shouldn't have. And I agree the direction this sets Jax

I'm glad you brought this up, the monotony of Gemma's character related to how there's never been a moment where she's let her guard down for the sake of a genuine female relationship. It seems as thought they're really going for the "this is how things are in a MC, Head Old Lady BLAH" deal, but the one-note song

Don't worry about who did it and for what reason. It'll be all twisty and illogical, and they'll play it as if it were the only possible outcome.
Regardless, add Nero to the list of people who get mixed up with the Sons, and refuse to walk away, only to see them use/abuse until they have nothing left (SEE: Opie,

Unser had a good week. Very subtle with the declaration that he's going to be poking around in these cases, then we see him with little notebook in hand doing detective work. "See…this is me poking around!" I wonder if he's going to find out something that Clay's involved in which leads to further strain in his

I truly enjoy Zack's writing, and agree with the majority of what he says about this episode. And yes, I realize he's in the thread, so writing about him in third person might be a bit awkward, but somehow I prefer it to addressing him directly. But, I think I'm done with reading critical reviews about SOA.

That was the moment I laughed the hardest last season, when Acavedo and Danny Trejo (man, he's little) not only revealed they were working for the CIA, but simultaneously produced badges! From their pockets! While working closely with drug/gun runners! Thanks for the funny memory.
