I too thought Aasif Mandvi was strong in the role, bringing an intensity and manic curiosity that would most likely drive someone who's achieved what he's achieved.

Bear tells me the Dog bounty hunters were hot ladies as well.

Back when they reviewed "The Crossing", the review mentioned that Caviezel wasn't exactly the best at star-crossed Ardour, or something to that effect. Based on this episode I'm inclined to agree. In earlier episodes I enjoyed the pairing more, but Frankie comes and demonstrates much better chemistry with Reese then

Bear also referenced Scooby Doo twice (and giving a translation of Root) in his tweets tonight.

Practically every show I watch has an awesome black policeperson as a major supporting character. Art Bell on Orphan Black, Marcus Bell on Elementary, Joe West on the Flash and now Babineaux here on Izombie. Now to just wait until Diggle becomes a detective on the Arrow.

"It should come as no surprise to regular readers of The A.V. Club that Cookie Monster is a font of wisdom."

She's surprisingly decent and fun to watch on "The 100".

Uhh.. there's a promo out for it and everything. Or are you specifically referring to OB on BBC3?

You're correct, but that's also part of the problem.

That was the one thing they did right. The end of the episode as the Machine starts accessing historic feeds.

I came to a realization why I've been a bit ambivalent about the last couple of episodes. They've been trying to weave in backstory and serial storylines into the procedure as always, but it's been a bit… I guess off, or lacking that entertaining spark.

At the top of their game, Hannibal and PoI would be 2 network shows that match and possibly eclipse prestige cable. However, particularly in PoI's case, their network demands mean that they can be very uneven - witness PoI's rather mediocre 3 (mostly) standalone episodes after 4-5 absolutely stellar serialized

Not much to add tonight, the Review kinda nails it. The procedural aspects of the show aren't being as neatly tied in with the overarching storyline as Season 3 in my opinion, and the show is honestly far stronger when it drops all pretense to being a procedural, however much I recognize that it has to "keep up

You specifically single out Black and Latino Men. What about native american/first nations. What about Asian, particularly West Asian men and women? What about disabled men of all colours?

Actually no, your entire impetus is that white women earn more then black and Latino men, and that invalidates any supporting comments to wage equality she (or any others) have said.

There we have it. You finally mention Black women explicitly (all previous mentions of minorities you specifically mentioned Men).

As you are a man, you cannot fully understand Women's rights and issues.

And men of colour have privilege over women of colour. We can do this all day.

That wasn't what she said at all, but I'm familiar with your oeuvre of treating any feminist issue as a race to 2nd place vs black (and in this case Latino) men.

Curious - Are Black and latino Women earning as much as Black and Latino Men?
