I think all of that is still true, even with midichlorians thrown into the mix. I mean, they exist in all living cells, some just have more than others, so everyone should still have a connection to the Force, however weak. So I would think that, yes, with 20 years of training Han could move a penny.

Oh my yes. Just stick with it. It's quite impressive how well her arc works, gradually maturing into an adult.

Well done.

Doesn't the wife in the first letter specifically say "I don't want to have him arrested?" Seeing as how I just copy/pasted that from her letter, I'd say the answer is "yes."

That Club Silencio scene is absolutely one of my favorites of all time. It just never ceases to amaze me that the host tells you it's all a recording, don't believe what you're about to see, and yet the performance so completely sells it that it's shocking when it's revealed to be a recording.

Yes, definitely agree. Large Marge always made me laugh. The surgeon clown just terrified me. Just saw this movie again recently after many years, and that part still just scares the crap out of me.

Luke/Vader fights, particularly in ESB, are definitely the best for looking threatening. Mark Hamill does a great job looking like he's really afraid and in over his head, but still brave enough to face down Vader.

I think they were a couple in the second movie, so yeah, I guess so. Hard to remember much of anything about that one, though.

I bought my tickets last night, but that's because I plan on going there with friends, and it's pretty much the only way to be sure we can all get in, especially to a really nice imax theater.

Yes! I'm glad it's kind of gone under the radar until recently. It allowed me to be completely blown away when I discovered it's brilliance for myself a few years back.

"Year of Hell" is pretty good, but it's pretty aggravating to watch if you've been watching the series in order. Kes had traveled back in time from the future in an earlier episode to warn them about much of what happens in the "year of hell," yet it still catches them completely by surprise. So yes, if you want to

Well when it's first introduced, he says something like "my ancestors stole this from your Jedi temple," so I think it's just a very old example of a lightsaber.

On The Clone Wars, Pre Vizla, a non-Force wielding Mandalorian uses one and kicks some serious ass with it.

We've been over this. Fruit-Stripe Gum was terrible and it's not coming back.

The big one for me was, if shrunken items retain their same mass but just greater density ("it shrinks the space between atoms"), wouldn't the tank Hank carries around still weigh as much as a full size tank? It has the same number of atoms, just at a much higher density.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa, no Hitchcock?!?!?! Pretty much anyone else I could see maybe, possibly overlooking (except Kubrick), but it's just not a list of great directors if it doesn't include Hitchcock.

14 karat gold!

Yeah, but when I see that there are over 1000 replies to a thread, I get some sort of existential dread that prevents me from digging too deeply.

I can't be the only one that thought the climax of this episode was VERY similar to "Attack of the Clones," right? You have the big arena, then an army appears among the crowd, fighting breaks out, massive reinforcements come in and surround the heroes, then air support arrives to take the hero away and kick ass.

No problem, I'm just incredibly pedantic when it comes to Beatles minutiae.
