Just gotta say how great Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is. Definitely one of the best comedic actors out there. I loved her over enthusiastic greeting of the audience as she made her way to the podium.
I kept being impressed while watching this series how, even though it's "dark and gritty," it's still very colorful and stylized, unlike "Man of Steel" which is dark, gritty, gray and boring.
There's one line that's tossed off in one of these episodes about him having to really focus to make use of his abilities, so that's enough for me. He doesn't focus on the sound blah blah suspension of disbelief. It works!

Bob Dylan's performance of "Desolation Row" on MTV: Unplugged is astounding. The weird time signature really speeds the song along, and he gets much more impassioned than you often hear from him. He seems to actually be enjoying the song and really getting into it.
