Jesus, I hated this record. I don't mind abrasive stuff, but I couldn't even get a read on what he was trying to do with it I guess? I don't know. I think this is how all of those people who don't like the Dum Dum Girls/Vivian Girls for their garage punk pop sound must feel because I couldn't get into it at all.

Probably hasn't seen the Matt Bomer footage in it either, or as I like to call it "a good time to renew my bisexuality."

Yeah, even having liked the first ep,, this episode felt a whole lot like quirky for quirky's sake. I don't get the character of the bunheads themselves, and the relentless "let's screw with Michelle" felt extremely taxing. I give it another before I wonder if this just isn't for me.

I swear I must've listened to the first Hot Dog episode with Ben Schwartz about five times now.

…Well, that's not far off.

I like that when Brent Butt shows up, there's really a different sort of comedic back-and-forth with him and Graham/Dave. He's clearly got an old timey sort of way of making humor and it was wonderful.

Paul and Cranston have such a great chemistry that I think helps, too. The two play brilliant natural antagonists to the other that you can't help but love seeing them play off of the other.

So I think I drunkenly incited a Twitter fight with Marc Maron. I guess that is of no note to anyone but those fascinated by how he views the AV Club disdain of the first 10 minutes of WTF.
