For Those is a Simply Syndicated one, right? God, that brings back memories to when I first got an iPod and Movies You Should See was the first thing I heard. Strange times.

Great stuff from those guys, yeah. It's become my favorite "bad movie riffing" podcast by a mile to the point that I'm glad to go away from How Did This Get Made. Speaking of which, Wyatt Cenac is a secret podcast ace for me. There's all the stuff about PFT, but any time Wyatt's been on a podcast, I've been massively…

I think I sent out some tweet talking about how the belligerent nature of Pete Holmes grew into warmth for me and he favorited it. For a while, I couldn't stand him, but between DLM and You Made It Weird having some fascinating chatter, Holmes grew on me.
For a supposedly abrasive album, goddamn are there weird sing songy moments that are awesome (AHV SEEN FOOTAGE, I'M IN YOUR AREA, HUSTLE BONES COMIN' OUT MY MOUTH). And really, this is no less abrasive than Sleigh Bells and gets much better on multiple listens.
Also, did any of you folk read the Pitchfork dealy where…
Mmm, this is good. I think Gaslight will record 40 albums of the same-sounding songs that I still like.
I was extremely distracted, but they also play around my neck of the woods on a regular basis.
The other 18 channels that air COPS at the same time.
Happy to say I've seen them live twice, but I might begrudgingly agree with the review. The live energy doesn't totally translate here, but that said, you guys should totally see them. If you're lucky, you'll get to see them with Lee Bains III and the Glory Fires and listen to some damn great rock for two and a half…
I did want the alternate universe where this movie accidentally got mixed up with the reels to Closer. The best performance she's given in forever, and probably the exception that proves the "Julia Roberts is damn annoying" rule to me.
I also wonder if better use of sites like Huffduffer, which basically can download podcasts one at a time by choice, helps alleviate the burnout thing. I think I had 75 podcast feeds at once sort of balanced on my interests, but eliminating ones I'm obviously not going to get to and saving Huffduffer for WTFs that…
A lot of cringe humor that wasn't funny tonight. Normally, Raising Hope is good about that, but it didn't always work here. But hell, I'll watch next week.
Seems like for an album called "REIGN OF TERROR," this album is shockingly dull. C+ is exactly what I would give it.
And I suddenly realized why I wasn't that annoyed by how it was hosted: Jesse wasn't as obnoxious. Cue an episode in four weeks about how much of a nightmare the experience was according to a guest.
