I love how POI takes overdone well worn tropes and turns them into greatness, takes well worn dramatic paths and turns them on their ear.
This was a great episode.Pure POI joy.Now Root is back and all is well.

I hear you there but in a post power world after 15 years it's a big stretch.Drug manufacturing would be 15 years in the past. For blood it still seems like plastic would be way more likely, which of course destroys the plot line of the episode.

Well this show sure does rely on CGI.Entire characters are CGI.And Alice, did she just come away from winning a MMA tournament? There's a stronger vibe of "family time" to this version of OUAT.A vibe that suggests they want kids watching.I guess I'll stay with it at least for now,but the original OUAT is a better

You missed your meds again.

Here's the thing.Who still has any glass IV bottles?they stopped using them at least 30 years ago and in post power world there would be far more plastic than glass.glass BREAKS and getting hurt isn't a good idea in post power world. To me everything after that scene was fruit from a poison tree.

Not gonna go through the comments, does anyone know what Eddie wrote before he jumped? It was in German I guess and I also think it was a suicide note but what did it say? That could be key to Nucky's reaction. What if it said "I told Knox a secret,I was forced and I can't live with it"?

Yeah whatta ya know,it was watchable. That said this was the set up episode.Crane tends to selectively accept or not accept 250 year in the future technology. If you were 250 in the future would you just get in a car without really thinking? And the mega sexy cop chick, she too tended to cozy up to the 250 year old guy

Avoid using the edit function in this forum.when I did my post disappeared never to return even after 3 plus hours.

Well it's sort of like Star Trek, would the captain and key crew really always go on missions etc? No,but it's TV so they have to focus on key characters.

The Machine called Finch/Reese at the same time.Did anyone pay enough attention to see if there were any clues in that scene?

I think the suicide angle was misdirection so we'd be all the more suprised by how he really died.

No I doubt it's a dream of Root's that the phone rang besides this opens a really interesting question, what does a now free Machine want?It called Finch/Reese AND Root at the same time.Does it want them to some how work together? Is this a plan to deal with Root?Does the Machine think Root is a enemy or a friend or a

Nothing on POI is preposterous when looked at through POI eyes, that's my only "complaint" here. You can't judge a show like this in any other terms than it's own universe.

I'm going to be dramatic here…
