Was the episode explicit about him only taking one drink? I don't remember. To me it seemed like a very unexplained point that he didn't die from the sleeping pill smoothie. I questioned everything that happened after he drank it as "Well, is he really just dead now?"

Fair point on the potential racism, but people are getting stupider. There's certainly a lively debate going on right now about whether the internet makes us smarter or dumber.

It was a great concept for a movie, but just awful execution. I was very disappointed with it. Especially after how funny the preview for it was.

Seriously, this movie kicks ass. Great story for a kid to relate to. And for everybody complaining about cheezy special effects… it was 1984 for fuck's sake! What are you comparing it to???
