Yep. I only heard of it a few weeks ago when I saw a poster next to the auxiliary concession stand at the theatre. Sought out a trailer after that, but never saw any advertising.

Rudo Y Cursi has been languishing in my Netflix queue for over a year since I read about it at the film festival here. Maybe I'll finally check it out now. 

I think it shares themes, but does still feel a little odd.

The super gay guy (Reza) was on that Andy Cohen show afterward and was wearing an H&M suit. Basically, as long as you're not asking out the bitch from this show, you're probably okay.
