I don't particularly admire their first two albums other than acknowledging they showed potential. That was their copy-cat growth phase, in my opinion. That band became interesting with IOH and has steadily improved as eclectic pop-rock artists.

Try to catch TWIABP live if you haven't. I was primarily there for Caspian, but they were quite impressive.

Garbage compared to what? Julian Bream playing Villa-Lobos? Sure. Compared to other stadium rock songs, it's a weird, fun song that showcases a powerful vocalist and drummer. Outside the context of the album, it's a sports pump-up track and is going to be immortal in those venues.

This may be odd, but I consider SVU's 15 season run to be an intensely revolting testament to people's fascination with violation and horror.
