That scene became immeasurably funnier to me years later when I knew who Gene Hackman was.

Well, someone already took School of Rock, so I'm going to go with Bauhaus in the opening scenes of The Hunger. Great music, great venue and you get to be seduced by Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie. What's not to like?
