And my GOD, that was a challenging Game Time.

Finally caught A Band Called Death, which was pretty good but didn't quite make the jump to great as a documentary.   Man, the music rocks though.

Jesus, now that's a solid list of films.

I do need to see House of the Devil, which I've heard good things about. Is it in any way funny like Innkeepers?

Ti West is also in Drinking Buddies this weekend. (And man, The Inkeepers was one of my favorite movies of last year.)

And c'mon, killing Drew Barrymore in the opening scene?

The sibling squabbling gave me a bad moment of "Oh, so THIS is how the Finn siblings would react in the middle of a home invasion!"  Yeah, we'd be screwed.

The gradual giving up on burials as you start to notice the kid is riding past more and more shrouds in piles…

It started hitting the festival circuit in 2011; no idea why it took Lionsgate this long to put it out.  It was worth the wait though; I saw it last night and throughly enjoyed it.

"Is it just to strengthen the official story that the family massacre was a freak incident, performed by motiveless maniacs, and not a targeted attack? "

"It's like listening to two fax machines mate."

Aaaaaand creepy.

The acting by that father on Switched at Birth.

Ah, Clipos Magnificos.  Exploding teddy bears.  Bade fake moustaches.  Worse acting.

God, that throw is what I come back to every time; Levine's performance there is just heartrending.

Sounds likes one of those weird random moments they do so well.

My favorite The Soup moment?  QVC's Jeanne Bice, a frequent target who did a show called Quacker Factory and who had a sense of humor about being the butt of The Soup's jokes, passed away a year or so ago.  Soup actually did a nice little tribute to her and it was both funny and sweet.

You and my wife; she thinks the psychic could be a misstep.

Hell, there's a metric ton of good acting in the little parts and QUESTIONS.  Is David Bradley's character guilty of something?  (Not murder, I think, but something.)  Why did Tommy's friend erase messages and files? What's up with the seemingly inneffectual pastor?  Why did the father not even TRY to get a good alibi?

Man, that bit with the quarter and his contemptuous toss of it on the table.  That's some really nice little work there.
