The Paul Simon is surprisingly solid. Not saying you should care about it, but it's worth at least a listen.

I'm 18, and I think this list is not a great representation of the best music of 2011.

Speaking of rad, I keep reading about Dawes in Paste, and it's throwing me off to hear them mentioned in non sarcastic terms. Even the Laurel Canyon sound!

I have quite a few friends who really like Dawes. It's weird to have Dawes not be a punchline when I see them posted on a facebook wall or something.
