No thank you.
No thank you.
And for having a bunch of characters weirdly imply that she only got to be DA because her Dad was one too, when as far as I know District Attorney is not a dynastic role.
"aiming for a simulacrum of weirdness rather than the actual thing"
I like both of those shows, but I'm guessing the people you were referring to weren't 'heavily bearded 34 year old men.'
I'm good thanks, have a nice afternoon or whatever time of day it is where you are.
Shit, that's a worry. I found Diamondback so risible I haven't watched past this episode yet.
You can't offer an apologia of Harris's positive stance on racial profiling and then describe him as "across the board left of centre." That's leaving aside his positions on gun control (not in favour) and US military policy (as driven by fantasies about large-scale civilisational conflict as any doctrinaire neo-con).
A lot of what he's said indicates that he wants people profiled by race. He just doesn't come right out with it, because that would conflict with his 'wounded liberal telling difficult truths' pose.
Can't see that working at all, honestly. There's a very good chance Channel 4 put in a bid for the show without having a single clue about why it actually works.
I had some goat in the freezer, so I made Dominican chivo guisado and rice & beans last night. Funnily enough, the recipe called for caramelising brown sugar in the skillet before adding the marinated goat, and it totally siezed up and formed little craggy outcrops around the edge of the pan. They melted away while I…
Shut your mouth.
Fuck yeah. Station to Station is my favourite Bowie Album, and Word on a Wing is incredible.
If it has nothing to do with race, when people like Maher and Harris say they're in favour of profiling people who look like they could be Muslims, I guess they must mean 'literally everyone regardless of what they look like,' right?
It's cool that you're so worried about racism; I assume this has led you to reject the modern day Republican party and lend your support to groups like BLM.
I mean, you're right in so far as people like you really do make me hate my fellow white people.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I don't know if that's what safe spaces and content warnings are for though? That seems like an uncharitable characterisation, tbh. I also say this as someone with recent personal experience of university students, having gone back to study again as an undergrad, albeit not in the US.
I watched the last two and they were well worth it for Michael Sheen's laugh alone.
Haha, I dunno about that. I've personally had a lot more success shushing teens than the elderly.
Sure you can, for whatever reason. But the fact remains that a staggering number of people post horrific hit on Facebook under their own names.
